Cable Bridge to suspend cables over a walkway
CableSafe® Cable Bridge is the heavy duty alternative for CableSafe® cable guards. The CableSafe Cable Bridge eliminates cables routed on the walkway and therefore will reduce the need for Cable Guards on the floor. The Cable Bridge is ideal when the walkway is used for small vehicles (e.g. bikes, pallet wagons, sometimes even fork lift trucks, etc.) The standard cable bridges are designed to safely suspend cables and hoses during construction or maintenance over walkways and roads.

Description
The Cable Bridge is used to improve safe working conditions where industrial cables and hoses are frequently used and where pedestrians, employees and/or contractor need to be kept safe. The cable bridge is a standard design for their walkways, it provides a decent and safe location to route cables and hoses. With welding and installation efforts being the company’s daily operation, the cable bridges are constantly in use. The operators indicate that the cable bridge saves a lot of time for temporary measures to be set up and is an approved cable management system. Use the Cable Bridge for all your company cable and hose requirements to promote good housekeeping and eliminate slip and trip hazards in the workplace.
This heavy duty cable bridge is an alternative for cable guards and can hold up to 1000kg. The beauty of the cable bridge is that the cables are managed on the bridge, as opposed to on the floor like the cable guards. This was the cables routed on the walkway are eliminated, meaning there is less need for cable guards on the floor. The cable bridge has also been designed in a way such that any small vehicles such as bikes, pallet wagons and forklifts can pass through safely. This bright yellow cable bridge can be spotted from a mile away and helps to save a lot of time for setting up especially for temporary measures.

Material
The Cable Bridge is made of steel and is coated with the safety color yellow. When the Cable Bridge is designed for outdoor use, it is recommended to be coated and galvanized. The edges of the Cable Bridge are rounded to protect your cables and hoses. The unit is tested with a load of 1.000 kg [2.200 lbs]. The Cable Bridge unit is rated to hold up to 500 kg [1.100 lbs] cable weight.
The Cable Bridge is constructed with horizontal side beams which can be used as temporary storage for cables and hoses that are frequently in use. CableSafe Safety Hooks are supplied on request.
